GOOD NEWS!

We are trying to find potential Lay Pastoral Assistants and, so that anyone who thinks they might be LPA material or who is gently pushed that way by God, incumbents etc can come and find out a bit more about what an LPA is, what an LPA does, what the training consists of and how to formally become an LPA on 10 March 2010 at Burbage Church Hall, opposite All SaintsChurch at Burbage, from 7.30 for a couple of hours. There will be light refreshments provided. This is available to any folk in our 3 Deaneries as a minimum.

All LPA's will be subject to a CRB check.

This night is for the LPA's but there will be a need another time for the incumbents etc to be involved.

PCC Secretaries: Please do not forget that, if you have any potential LPA's their names need to go forwards to your PCC so that the LPA's are properly sponsored by their respective Parishes and incumbents.
